Selection Process
The selection process for the SBI Junior Associate JA Clerk (Customer Sales & Support) Recruitment 2023 will consist of the following stages:
Preliminary Examination: The preliminary examination will be an objective type test consisting of three sections:
- Reasoning Ability: 70 marks
- Numerical Ability: 70 marks
- English Language: 60 marks The duration of the preliminary examination will be 2 hours.
Main Examination: The main examination will also be an objective type test consisting of four sections:
- English Language: 100 marks
- General Studies (Banking & Finance): 100 marks
- Quantitative Aptitude: 100 marks
- Computer Aptitude: 100 marks The duration of the main examination will be 3 hours.
Local Language Test: Candidates who qualify the main examination will be required to appear for a Local Language Test. The Local Language Test will be a qualifying test and will not carry any marks.
Salary and Allowances
The selected candidates will be appointed as Junior Associates (Customer Sales & Support) in the Clerical cadre of SBI. The starting salary for Junior Associates is Rs. 19,900 per month. In addition to the basic salary, Junior Associates are also entitled to various allowances, such as house rent allowance, dearness allowance, and transport allowance.
