CTET 2024 is the Central Teacher Eligibility Test, a national level examination conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the recruitment of teachers in schools affiliated to the CBSE and other schools recognized by the Government of India. Eligibility criteria for CTET 2024:
- Educational qualification:
- Minimum 50% marks in graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Minimum 55% marks in post-graduation in education from a recognized university.
- 3-year integrated B.Ed. – M.Ed. degree from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% marks in graduation.
- Age limit:
- Minimum 18 years and maximum 35 years as of 01 July 2024.

Exam pattern for CTET 2024:
- Mode of examination: Computer-based test (CBT)
- Total marks: 150 each for Paper 1 and Paper 2
- Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes each for Paper 1 and Paper 2
- Question type: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
Passing criteria for CTET 2024:
- Minimum qualifying marks: 60% in each paper
- Relaxation for SC/ST/PWD candidates:
- 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST candidates
- 10% relaxation in qualifying marks for PWD candidates

Fee for CTET 2024:
- General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,000 for each paper and ₹1,200 for both papers
- SC/ST/PH: ₹500 for each paper and ₹600 for both papers.
